Jon Bon Jovi Is Almost Ready For Reunion With Richie Sambora

Jon Bon Jovi will be honored as the Person Of The Year at the 33rd annual MusiCares benefit gala. The upcoming event will be a fundraiser for people in the music industry with health and support services.

Sambora is one of the names who will celebrate the Bon Jovi vocalist with a performance of his songs at the tribute that will take place two days before the 66th annual Grammy Awards on February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena.

Back in November, during an interview at the Breeders’ Cup in California, Sambora mentioned he and the band were in talks about a possible return. Noting the influence of Bon Jovi’s music in changing the listeners’ lives, the guitarist talked about a reunion to People:

“So yeah, it definitely could happen. It’s just a question of when everybody’s ready to go do it. It will be a big, massive kind of undertaking.”

About when the comeback could happen, he said:

“I’m not sure. It’s up to peoples; it’s got to be right. That’s all. It’s time to do it, though. This is our 40th anniversary, but I feel younger than ever. I’m having a ball.”
