The birthday message came after Page turned 80 on January 9 and Jones celebrated his 78th birthday on January 3. Robert’s photo and words were highly appreciated by the fans. One of them noted in the comment section:
“Robert, this is very sweet and touching…”
Another user addressed the photo and said:
“One of the most fabulous band pictures ever! Pure gold! Brilliant.”
One other Zeppelin fan also sent their birthday wishes, writing:
“Many happy returns to them both! Thank you for the lifetime of inspiration and taking us over the hills.”
It has been more than 15 years since Plant, Page, and Jones played together as Led Zeppelin. Their final show happened on December 10, 2007, at the Ahmet Ertegun tribute concert in London. Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham, played the drums during this performance.
