Richie Sambora Ready To Work With The Band Again !

A reunion with Bon Jovi might be in the works for Richie Sambora, according to his recent interview with People. During the talk at the Breeders’ Cup in Arcadia, California, he mentioned ongoing discussions with Jon Bon Jovi about getting back together.

“I think that we wrote a lot of songs that changed a lot of people’s lives just by letting them have a good time. I know that’s what music did to me … kept me company. And I hope that I can reflect that in what I do.”

About the possibility of reuniting with the other members, he went on:

“So yeah, it definitely could happen. It’s just a question of when everybody’s ready to go do it. It will be a big, massive kind of undertaking.”

As for when the reunion might take place, the guitarist added:

“I’m not sure. It’s up to peoples; it’s got to be right. That’s all. It’s time to do it, though. This is our 40th anniversary, but I feel younger than ever. I’m having a ball.”

Sambora’s departure from the band came in 2013, following the release of ‘Because We Can.’ He left just before an April concert during the supporting tour, choosing to spend more time with his family. He has played with the band only once since then, at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction in 2018.
