Didn't realize it had been so long but the late Malcolm Young last played with AC/DC in 2010! Sadly, he passed away in 2017 after a long battle with dementia. News of Malcolm's death touched everyone in the rock universe including Eddie Van Halen who said he was, “the heart and soul of AC/DC."
In 2014, Brian Johnson had to leave during a tour because his hearing problems had gotten so bad. Axl Rose took over for the remaining 22 shows.
Fast forward to December of 2019, Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider says that AC/DC have been working on new material, including guitar tracks previously recorded by Malcolm Young and Brian Johnson back on lead vocals. The boys from down under however, have not confirmed any of this.
I hope it's all true...we could use some good news.
