So, that's what it's like to have F.U. money...Kurt Cobain's 1959 Martin acoustic guitar sold at auction this weekend for an astounding $6 million! The guitar was used during Nirvana's 1993 MTV Unplugged performance. Originally thought to fetch $1 million, there was obviously a lot of interest in owning the guitar.
Rode Microphones founder Peter Freedman bid $6,010,000 in a Julien’s Auctions sale on Saturday.
