This is great buzz!! Watching one of the many Stones Tour Announcements throughout history. This one? On the back of a flatbed truck down 5th Avenue in Manhattan. It was right after Ron Wood was assimilated into the band. Imagine what a head rush it was for him!!! Newly made into a Stone and peacocking through the streets of New York like VJ heroes!! NYPD shouting out for hm to give them tickets and Alice Coopers manager emerging from a building with briefcase in hand, mouth agape at the amazing Stones showmanship. They would ride this tour to Detroit at Cobo July 28th. Anybody reading this go to that show??? Love to share the memory in the comments. Pix if you can dig them up, too!!
