Singer-songwriter John Prine had been battling coronavirus for several weeks. This song "Picture Show" features Tom Petty. The album which also featured Bruce Springsteen and other rockers won a Grammy award in 1992. In January, he was honored as a recipient for a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. While he never achieved mainstream success, he developed a cult following and was admired by other musicians such as Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, John Fogerty and Springsteen. Rolling Stone magazine once called him "the Mark Twain of American songwriting".
